Cremona Hotel - Tradition with a Modern Flare

Cremona Hotel can trace its origin to construction somewhere around 1950. It was built and operated by a local Italian family for many years. The Village of Cremona itself is named after the city of Cremona in Italy which is famous for its rich musical history.

The Cremona Hotel was purchased by the Neilon family in 1978 and is operated by the family to this day. The hotel has undergone numerous renovations over the years and has become a cherished establishment to Cremona and area residents as well as its many visitors in the years since.

The Village of Cremona was founded in 1906. It is nestled in the foothills of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains in a narrow band of mixed forests and grasslands known for its mild climate, beautiful scenery, and a variety of wildlife. Near the Little Red Deer and Fallen Timber Rivers, Cremona is an ideal location for recreational enthusiasts interested in camping, fishing, and hiking.

Cremona Hotel, Neilons Tavern and Coyote Grill offer you traditional country classics combined with a fresh modern flare, not to mention fine spirits and good times. Stop in and experience our home felt hospitality for yourself!

“Excellent restaurant out in the countryside”
"If you are travelling between Cochrane and Sundre and feel a tad peckish, this is a really good restaurant located inside the Cremona Hotel. The food is excellent and not what one would expect in a small town hotel/bar. Everything on the menu is first class."

Pritchard, BC

“It was a pleasantly unexpected surprise”
"Had lunch there today, food and service were great, place was clean, prices were good and the menu was large and had some different things. It was a pleasantly unexpected surprise. Will stop again if through that way."
